Here I am in black and white (so to speak)!

This is, my professional life in readers digest form.

I am a fully trained scratch baker by trade and I've had my share of bakers hours (remember those old Dunkins doughnuts commercials of the guy staggering into work at 1 am?). About 17 years ago my boss convinced me to continue my training and try some cake decorating. I loved it.

In fact, I continued to invest in professional training specifically in Wedding Cake decorating techniques - quite different from birthday cakes I found out. But best of all, a co-worker of mine was a fabulous wedding cake decorator and had helped to decorate the wedding cake for Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Her daughters were uninterested in the trade and so she taught me. Thanks Norma.

In 1993 my family and I returned to our home town of London, Ontario and opened A Piece of Cake Inc.

Since then I've been proud to have been a part of over 2,700 wedding celebrations, and I hope to be a part of yours.
